Boarding:
R. C. Dogcare offers boarding in a non-traditional kennel setting. Our boarding dogs
are considered “guests” and socialize with other guests in playgroups. During the
overnight, guests are housed in “doggie suites” that are furnished with bedding and toys
from home. During the daytime hours, guests play in one of our indoor play areas and,
outside in one of our play yards. Our goal is to make your dog’s stay as stress-free
as possible. To accomplish this goal, we work with you to maintain your dog’s daily
feeding schedule and we feed your dog with food you provide. We feed your dog on the
schedule you prefer with the same food amounts as home.
If your dog does not socialize well with other dogs, your dog will still get individual
attention where our staff will play with your dog in a special play area.
A typical boarding dog day:
6:00 am - Dogs are let outside.
6:30 am - Dogs are returned to their suites.
7:30 - 9:00 am - Dogs are fed and let outside after they have eaten
or if they do not eat right away, they are given some time with
their food and then let out.
9:00 am - Those dogs who can socialize, are moved into one of the
play
areas(dog social groups are based on the dogs level of activity).
